the blazers actually won! kobe had an off night - only scored thirty something points. probably had something to do with his 'compression pants'...have you seen those things? basically kobe bryant plays basketball in some bright purple leggings. i've heard they help him play better, probably by distracting all the other players with how ugly and atrocious they are.

Go Lakers!
Did you guys have fun? Was the dinner good? Did you miss the kids terribly or was it OK? After all that build up on that last post about the game I need more details. : )
the dinner was fabulous. especially the desserts. (don't read this part mom...) so good in fact, that i ditched my vegetables to save room for seconds on the desserts. the turkey was incredible, and i don't even like turkey.
i didn't miss the kids at all, which is shocking. and about an hour after we got home and were doing homework, ellen started crying in her bed so dave went in just to kinda let her know we were home. she couldn't have cared less - she just wanted to know where rachel (the babysitter) was cause she really wanted rachel. and isaiah slept better then he's slept in a long time.
it was a good game too, exciting toward the end. the blazers were ahead the whole time, but in the last quarter it looked like the lakers maybe just might pull up close and take the lead, but we perservered and stayed ahead.
how's that?
:)
Much better. Thanks for the in depth info. My curiosity is quenched. ; )
Purple leggings??? ok now I think I have to watch a laker's game? is team work in their vocabulary anymore?
