sampling

this morning we ran some errands. i enrolled ellen in preschool. and then we went to winco (yay for winco! i'm munching on bulk candy...chocolate covered orange things...even as i type.) while we were there ellen kept having a slightly guilty but quite pleased with herself smile everytime i looked back at her. finally i watched close enough to see her pretending to sample food as we walked past. i asked what she was doing and she said she was eating all the food that looked good. on the baking aisle she went back for seconds on the cake decorations.
