dave's head update
dave went into the er last night after he decided if someone was going to mess with his head it was probably better sooner than later. he came back with six staples in his head!!!! the dr. put three in and then was suprised at how long the gash actually was. apparently he gave just enough anesthetic for three staples, but since more were needed decided more anesthetic would be just as painful as the actual staples - so he just went for it. dave did not agree.

Ow! Oh my word--I'm glad he's okay. What is it with Dave and head injuries? Am I doomed to get more foot/toe injuries?
Wow! Staples? Are they the dissolving kind or the kind that has to be removed? Did he get a bald patch shaved in his head?
you know mom asked the same question - i wasn't aware there were dissolving staples. (so no - they have to be removed. he said they tried to give him the remover and he said there is no one i know that would be willing that i want doing anything like that to my head.
and i guess one of the benefits of staples is they don't have to shave your head. so you can't even see them really. hence, no picture.
Hey Dave, what happened to the rule, always wear your helmet! do you want me to come up and remove the staples for you? :)
