conversations with ellen

randomly at dinner tonight: ellen: mom, it's really important! me: what's important? ellen: it's really important to obey God me: (totally suprised) yes, it is. why? (meaning why are you saying that?) ellen: because God is the president! dave: ellen, if isaiah was an animal, would kind would he be? ellen: an elephant! dave: why? ellen: because an elephant has a trunk. (dave asks her this a lot about different people, and they are almost always an elephant. he started with me and when she said i would be an elephant i was wandering if i should be offended. but now i see that we should all be elephants because we should all have trunks)

If only God was the president...

I think being an elephant might be overwhelming. She is hilarious.
