no homework means gymboree and christmas lights
normally i would be doing homework on wednesday night. but i just do not feel like it tonight. we get two free weeks and i'm thinking this is going to be one for me.
so instead we took ellen and isaiah to family gymboree where they were both allowed to play. (normally isaiah is in a snugli.) we've missed a lot of classes cause we've all been sick all the time so they allow you to attend any other class to make up for it. anyway tonight was a bummer of a night to forget the camera cause they had the best time! isaiah was very slowly and precariously crawling through the tunnels (chasing a ball that mysteriously kept rolling away)and rocking on the rocking horse with dave and just having a great time. most of the kids in that class are older so they gear it toward them so ellen was having a good time in a class that was too old for her, doing new things and learning new songs. fun fun.
on the way home we looked at christmas lights. first ellen had a hard time focusing on the lights cause she was so thrilled to keep finding the moon.
"there it is mommy! my moon! i like that moon!"
and then when she finally did see the lights (because we turned and she couldn't see the moon anymore) she liked them just as much.
"look at the wonderful lights. those are wonderful lights."
i've never heard her say wonderful before - she's the only two year old i know that uses these kinds of words. genius i tell you.
