new carpet!

this morning we got new carpet in the living room because with the old stuff it was hard to see the carpet for the stains. i think ellen and isaiah kinda liked hanging out in the livingroom furniture in the kitchen. (we couldn't reach the high chair so isaiah's eating cheerios in his crib and ellen's trying to snag some) you can also see ellen is in a dress - i found several in the back of her pants drawer and thought it will be easier to start putting her in dresses than to find some for myself. so for today at least she'll all decked out. nothing like living vicariously through your children. dave came home on his lunch and we started moving things back in and talking about getting rid of the tv again. we'll see. i'm never real thrilled with the idea and then when we do it takes about a week, but i'm always thrilled that we did.
