more things to think about
i've been thinking lately (like in the last hour) that i'm sorta sick of the grungy mom look. i think i'd like to start wearing some skirts and dresses. it's pretty cold up here so i figure i'm gonna have to wear thick tights too. my problem is that i can't picture myself with this look. i've worn jeans a t-shirt pretty much since i graduated high school. maybe it can be a big makeover - nose piercing, skirts, tights. i can kinda picture that ( a little).
the other thing i have been thinking about is that it might be fun to be one of the demarle people. you know the ladies that host 'shows' - where they cook stuff at your house for your friends and show you how easy to use and wonderful their product is??? that could be fun. i really do like the demarle line and i do like cooking - i just hate the cleaning part. it seems that you go to someone's house where they've done all the shopping and prep work and you do the impressive part and take people's money and then they clean up. sounds good to me. anybody ever done anything like that? pampered chef or anything? i wonder if you actually make any money?

ive always worn nothing but jeans and sweatshirts, for the longest time...i mostly do now...except on sundays now, ive been dressing up for church, and i love it! its so much fun! and through that, it makes me want to be more adventurous with my wardrobe on weekdays. :)
my friend has done partylite, the candle thing...and shes had a jewlery one also, i cant remember the name...theyre ok. ive never been to a cooking one, i imagine those are ions better than candles and neclaces. :)
A friend of mine here makes a ton of money doing Pampered Chef. She says it's better than Mary Kay or something because it's something people can always need without having to leave something behind. I mean, sure someone can say "I have pots," but they have great gadgets and stuff--I had a part about a year ago, if you can't tell, and am sold on it all. Anyway, I can put you in touch with her if you want.
nothing better than jeans and a tshirt (or this time of year - a hoody with space for your hands)
I like the dressing up for church or special events but wearing a dress around the house would be a challenge for me.
I'm keeping silent on the nose piercing but am having visions :-)
You don't look like a grungy mom, but a new look is also fun. Just don't sacrifice comfort and warmth. : )
