yesterday while dave was finishing up a paper i took the kids over to target and saw the coolest thing in the world. you've heard of the 'roomba' right? the robotic vaccuum cleaner? right next to it i saw the version for hardwood floors. when i saw it i came away thinking it would mop the floor for you, but that's not making sense to me right now. anyway, i still think that is the coolest thing ever. i'd program it to do just hover under isaiah while he eats.
and come to think of it, that would actually be way better than a dog. it would eat everything that falls on the floor but you wouldn't have to pick up after it. i think dave's gonna like this.

I own a roomba, and personally think that it works better on hardwood floors than carpet. We mainly use it on our hardwood floors. It's a lifesaver, and I highly recommend it.
I'm borrowing my mom's roomba right now. Agree about the hardwood floors. The only caveats are that it takes a long time to charge up and you've got to empty the little repository often. But it works great for picking up all thoss stupid dog hairs Zoey sheds like they're going out of style.
