izzy's
last night we went to izzy's to celebrate dave's being promoted. true, it won't actually happen until a week from today, but we really wanted to go out. izzy's is one of my favorite places up here - it's kinda like shakey's where it's a pizza bar, buffet kinda deal. but i have a negative association with shakey's so it's way better. the food is always fresh and hot and tasty and i absolutely love all the options. a little of this and a little of that and a little of everything. i love options. i think i said i love this place five or six times while we were there. dave really enjoys it also, but he only went for the pizza. ellen had a good time sampling random foods also although jello was the favorite for her. and isaiah even had a little bit of mashed potatoe and a little bit of ice cream. he didn't seem to enjoy either. made the most disgusted faces. so we gave him an extra bite to see it again.

Oh you make me laugh!!!! Remember jello cubes. Bet Ellen would love those and they wouldn't melt and get all messie over her. I think it is 3 little boxes of jello, 1 (?) envelope of knox and 4 boiling cups of water. Might be 2 knox (plain gelatin in an orange box)
I love Izzy's Fun times.
Congrats, Dave! Hopefully it will make your life less complicated, not more. We miss you guys.

I have no idea what Izzy's is--sounds good--but our new favorite pub is called Dizzy Izzy's. It's two blocks from our house, serves incredible food (which you'd never guess from the looks of the place) and has won "Best of Baltimore" (a coveted ranking around here) for "Best Baltiomore Pub." It's quite nice. Oh, and pitcher's of beer are really cheap....Oops I forgot this was a "comment" and not my own post.
Izzy's reminds me of our old youth staff retreats. We'd stop by the Izzy's in Willsonville on our way out of town. Good times. Good pizza. I never had the salad.
