i started a quilt. i wanted it to be a "classic" quilt in the sense that i'm actually using scraps from other things that i've made. i'm having a bit of a hard time with it because i like things to match. it gives my soul a little thrill when things are organized and coordinated and well placed and all of that. so i'm trying to stretch myself a bit here.

Oh, Sarah!!! You and I are almost too much alike. My mom and I discussed this, and she was sure I'd be able to just make a random quilt, and I assured her that I couldn't. I cited my closet where all of the shirts are organized first by sleeve lenght, and then by collar (first those without collars, and then those with). Glad to know I have another crazy in the world with me.
i did that! but i organized by color and then sleeve length. but i have no time for such fun anymore. i just try to get the clean clothes in the closet and the dirty clothes in the washer now. :)
